The results of B. Tech first semester examination were declared by KUK on 13.06.2008. In this examination three examinees/students of S.D. Institute of Technology & Management succeeded with highest rank in their branches as well as scored highest marks in the Kurukshetra University.
Apart from the above achievement,65 students of SDITM, Israna got aggregate marks more than 70% (which is first class with distinction as per university norms) and 50 students have aggregate between 60% and 70% (which is first class as per university norms). This shows that not only our three students have got first rank in university exam results, but the students in general of this institute are at higher performance band in the whole spectrum of approximately 6700 students of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as visible from gazette published by the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra for 1st sem. results of Dec/Jan 2007-08.
