2. Adequate computing infrastructure in terms of PCs, LAN, Internet etc. for use by faculty and students.
3. Code of conduct for students and faculty members, including professional ethics and social responsibilities.
4. Involvement of students in faculty recruitment process by way of judging communication abilities of potential faculty members in a lecture delivered at the time of recruitment.
5. Feedback on the performance of faculty members from students
6. Use of water harvesting and renewable resources in order to sensitize the students about the benefits.
7. Introduction of teacher guardian (mentor) system wherein the teacher monitors the progress of the student in studies and extra curricular activities and provides necessary counseling and support.

2. Identification of deficiencies of each student at the time of entry and providing additional input by way of extra classes and courses in soft-skill development.
3. Periodical seminars by senior faculty members and outside experts.
4. Conduct of mock interviews and guidance in bio-data preparation in order to help the students in seeking employment
5. Access to vast information available in digital library through Internet.
6. Organizing self-development courses such as Art of Living, Meditation and Yoga for students to help them in living a life full of joy through NSS.
7. Orientation program for fresh students and necessary steps to maintain discipline in the campus.
8. Imparting free training to youths from the nearby areas for self employment.
9. Extra classes for students who do not pass examination in one attempt.

SALIENT FEATURES

S. D. Institute of Technology & Management, Israna just in the process of developing world class infrastructure and high-tech labs which are essential/ beneficial for quality technical education, high level of learning and to develop personality of student so that they are accepted globally for employment. 2. SDITM has been conferred ISO 9001: 2008 certification vide 34877/A/0001/UK/En dated 22 April 2009 and this is valid for three years from 22 April 2009 to 21 April 2012.
3. The Indian Society for Technical Education has approved the formation of an ISTE CHAPTER with 32 life members and admitted INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP to S.D. Institute of Technology & Management with all privilege granted by the constitution & bye-laws of ISTE.
4. SDITM has implemented STUDENT CHARTER under guidelines of Director Technical Education Haryana, and per direction of State Fee Committee, Haryana.
5. The numbers of faculty members are with Ph. D & M. Tech and some more are pursuing higher degree or qualifications such as Ph. D & M. Tech at different Universities of India.
6. Research and Development wing has been constituted to carry out the research project. About 29 research papers have been published by the faculty members in National or International Journal of repute.
7. The Academic block, Class rooms, Library, Computer & Electronics labs are fully air conditioned with 380 Ton capacity fitted with LG make air conditioners.
8. The campus is Wi-Fi, latest training aids including Interactive Boards, Multimedia Projectors and visualizes are being used for teaching learning process in all classrooms. 24 hours Internet facility with 4 MBPS is available in the Institute as well as Hostel
9. That the SDITM is trying to collaborate with University of Houston by the kind effort of Dr. Raj Singh Chikara, Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Houston, Texas, USA. Before joining the University of Houston in 1984, Dr. Chikara was Principal Scientist at the Johnson Space Centre of NASA in Houston and made a significant research contribution in the development of space technology for assessment of earth resources in agriculture, forestry and geology.
