- SDITM has been conferred ISO 9001: 2008 certification vide 34877/A/0001/UK/En dated 22 April 2009 and this is valid for three years from 22 April 2009 to 21 April 2012.
- The Indian Society for Technical Education has approved the formation of an ISTE CHAPTER with 32 life members and admitted INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP to S.D. Institute of Technology & Management with all privilege granted by the constitution & bye-laws of ISTE.
- SDITM has implemented STUDENT CHARTER under guidelines of Director Technical Education Haryana, and per direction of State Fee Committee, Haryana.
- The numbers of faculty members are with Ph. D & M. Tech and some more are pursuing higher degree or qualifications such as Ph. D & M. Tech at different Universities of India.
- Research and Development wing has been constituted to carry out the research project. About 29 research papers have been published by the faculty members in National or International Journal of repute.
- The Academic block, Class rooms, Library, Computer & Electronics labs are fully air conditioned with 380 Ton capacity fitted with LG make air conditioners.
- The campus is Wi-Fi, latest training aids including Interactive Boards, Multimedia Projectors and visualizes are being used for teaching learning process in all classrooms. 24 hours Internet facility with 4 MBPS is available in the Institute as well as Hostel
- That the SDITM is trying to collaborate with University of Houston by the kind effort of Dr. Raj Singh Chikara, Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Houston, Texas, USA. Before joining the University of Houston in 1984, Dr. Chikara was Principal Scientist at the Johnson Space Centre of NASA in Houston and made a significant research contribution in the development of space technology for assessment of earth resources in agriculture, forestry and geology.
