      Facilities
      Canteen
      The canteen is a place to relax after long hours of study. Always occupied by students both juniors as well as seniors, the cafeteria has a lot of goodies to offer at affordable prices. Open 6 days a week, the canteen is a place where students throw their birthday parties.

      Filled with the exuberance of youth, the cafeteria has an atmosphere, which is difficult to describe unless you are yourself there. The canteen has played host to a large number of students who went on to occupy prestigious positions in large multinational companies .The students carry everlasting memories of the canteen when they leave the SDITM
       
      Shopping Center
      For students coming to study in the SDITM, the internal shopping center is a real boon. This shopping center has all those commodities to offer which one needs in daily life, be it stationery & grocery.
       
      Hostel Facility
      The SDITM has separate well-furnished hostels for boys & girls. Both the hostels have mess facilities at very moderate rates, 24 hour power supply, common hall, TV room, reading rooms, telephone, recreational and sports facilities with a tight security system.
       
      Bank
      The SDITM campus has computerized branch of one Nationalized Banks viz.
      • Oriental Bank of Commerce
      to cater to the banking needs of students & employees. Fully equipped with ATM and Core Banking facility, the banks play a key role in meeting the financial needs of students staying far off from their homes.

      The Bank also has the facility of both Short term & Long term loans for students.
       
      Transport
      The Institute has a fleet of more than twenty buses to provide conveyance for students as well as for employees from Panipat, Kurukahetra, Karnal, Gohana, Rohtak, Jind and Sonepat.
       
      Medical Facility
      Round the clock medical facilities are available on the campus for the students & employees.
       
      Parking
      For outsiders coming to the SDITM, the Institute has a cycle & Two Wheeler & Car parking close to the main gate where they can park their vehicles. This stand ensures the safety of the visitors’ vehicles while they are away and also helps in maintaining smooth traffic within the campus.
       
      Guest House
      The Guest House plays host to a number of guests of the SDITM with well furnished rooms and excellent catering service, most guests prefer to stay in the SDITM Guest House. Situated next to the girls’ and at walking distance from the Administrative Building, the Institute Guest House has an ideal location. The Institute Guest House offers a huge parking space for visitors.
       
      Publicity & Media Cell
      The Printing Industry plays an important role in the dissemination of knowledge and information. It is also an excellent tool of spreading literacy and knowledge. To keep up the standards of printing high, the SDITM had to have its own Publicity & Media Cell.
       
      Computing System with Internet facilities
      The Computer Lab with Internet is located at the first floor of main Institute building. The lab is air conditioned (Four units 2 tons capacity each) with an infrastructure facility to lodge computer systems. All the systems are located on a user-friendly desk designed specifically for the purpose with compatible cushioned chairs. Special electrification with UPS (two hours backup) is provided. Fire Extinguished equipment with smoke detector is also provided to meet eventualities.
       
      Water Supply
      The Institute has its own water supply system complete with a tube well, an underground reservoir and a pump house to supply cooled, filtered and purified water.
       
      Security
      A professional security agency has been deployed to guard the Institute and the hostel.
       
      E-Library facility
      Central library has a digital library section, which has 6 Computers and 307 CDs. Library also provides Internet service to its users. All computers in digital library have Internet connection for the users can access all the Online Journals in Digital Library Section. In central library only 2 computers have OPAC facility.

      Central library has also facilities to access to IEL online JOURNALS for users of S.D. Institute of Technology & Management under INDEST-AICTE consortium.

      A/C and Power Backup (Generator) Facilities Given to Students & Employees at SDITM
       
      Air Conditioning Status
      A campus with well-equipped infrastructure facilitates and efficient teaching smoothens the learning process. SDITM is such a campus that has sufficient number of lecture theatres, class rooms, science laboratories, library and reading room, all well furnished and adequately air conditioned in order to make the teaching-learning process of high standard. There are 31 split air-conditioning (A/C) outlets connected with ductable network having capacity of 5.5 tones each. These A/C outlets are available to five lecture theatres, Physics laboratory, Chemistry laboratory, Electrical Technical laboratory, M.B.A. Classrooms, Library and Reading rooms in addition to the office and chambers of officials. The A/C infrastructure serves the needs of 264 students each of first year and second year B.Tech. as well as a sizeable number of students of MBA and other courses.
       
      Power Needs and Support Mechanism
      The A/C facility requires uninterrupted power supply (electricity) round the clock. The electric power supply is inadequate i.e. on an average campus has 10 hours of power supply daily. However, the campus has been provided with adequate supplementary power generation with well-maintained Battery Backup gas fueled 250 KVA Generator. It supplements the power needs of the campus adequately.
       
      Operation and Maintenance Mechanism
      The operation and maintenance of the A/C machines and Generator is looked after by a team of technicians headed by Electrician Supervisor (Mr. Pale Ram) and supported by four electricians. The team works with its full efficiency and sincerity.
       
      Telephone, Intercom & Fax
      SDITM has its own internal telecom system. All the offices and Departments are linked together with telecom. The Institute office has many Printers and Fax machine. Mr. Suresh Kumar, Telephone Technician, has looked after the maintenance of telephone, intercom & fax.

Students of NCCE with 60% throughout without backlog are eligible. Package: 3.75 Lacs. Selection Process: PPT, Technical Test, Psychometric & HR Interview. NOTE: Students are required to carry 2 copies each of resume,PP Photo, College ID, DMCs/Certificates (10th onwards) alongwith and come in proper Dresscode.
